PhoneRaise is proud to offer an enhanced Donor Data Analysis add-on service. By analyzing historical donor contributions and engagement, we help you identify giving patterns, donor segments, and key performance indicators. This crucial insight enables more targeted fundraising strategies and improved donor stewardship.

What We Offer

Our Donor Data Analysis service consolidates donor information into a comprehensive scorecard, providing in-depth visibility into critical donor metrics:

  1. First Donation Amount
  2. First Donation Date
  3. Most Recent Donation Amount
  4. Most Recent Donation Date
  5. Total Lifetime Giving
  6. Average Donation
  7. Median Donation
  8. Highest Donation Amount
  9. Total Number of Donations
  10. Recency, Frequency, and Giving (RFM) Scores
  11. Overall Donor Score (a combined index factoring recency, frequency, and amount)
  12. Donor Trends (Increasing or decreasing their giving)
  13. Donor Tiers

Data Acquisition Options

To perform the Donor Data Analysis, you can provide your donor and transaction information in one of the following ways:

  1. Report Exports
    • Contact Information Report: A file containing donor names, emails, phone numbers, and other relevant contact fields.
    • Transaction Information Report: A file containing each donation date, amount, and any related transaction details.

    • We will merge these reports and build the analysis on your behalf.


  2. Salesforce Access
    • Alternatively, grant us limited or view-only access to your Salesforce account so we can export the necessary reports directly.
    • We will run the reports within your Salesforce environment to gather the required donor and transaction data.

What Is Not Included

  • Data Cleanup: This Donor Data Analysis add-on does not cover any data cleanup work. If your data requires deduplication, phone number formatting, or other hygiene tasks, please see our separate Data Cleanup service.


  • Custom Segmentations: We provide standard donor metrics and trends. More advanced or custom segmentation (e.g., specialized queries and complex multi-factor scoring beyond RFM may require an additional service package.


  • Ongoing Maintenance: This is a one-time analysis of your donor data as provided.


  • Accuracy Guarantees on Client Data: If the reports or data exports contain incomplete or incorrect information, our analysis will reflect those data gaps. We rely on you for accurate and complete data.

Fee

  • Flat Fee: The donor data analysis add-on costs $500 for a one-time analysis, which is billed upon project kickoff.

Terms of Service

  1. Scope of Work
    • The scope of this add-on service is limited to analyzing the donor data you provide or export from Salesforce.

    • The deliverable is a single analysis report, including the donor scorecard and trends outlined above. All data is provided on a Google Sheet.


  2. Data Delivery and Timeline
    • For us to run the necessary reports, you must either provide the two reports (contact information and transaction information) or grant access to Salesforce.
    • Once all data is received (and deemed complete by PhoneRaise), we typically deliver the final analysis within 2–3 days.

    • If the data is needed in less than 48 hours a $100 rush fee may be required.


  3. Confidentiality and Data Security
    • We treat your donor data with strict confidentiality and implement industry-standard encryption for data transfers.
    • We will use your data solely for this analysis and will not share, sell, or disclose it to third parties.

    • An optional Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) can be provided upon request.


  4. Payment Terms
    • A one-time fee of $500 is due at the time of engagement.
    • Payment methods include credit card, ACH transfer, or Zelle.

    • We reserve the right to withhold the final analysis until full payment is received.


  5. Data Integrity
    • We assume the data you provide is accurate and complete. If it is incomplete or contains inaccuracies, our analysis results will reflect that.

    • If you discover errors in your data after the analysis is complete, rerunning the analysis or performing additional clean-up may incur an additional fee.


  6. Cancellation and Refunds
    • You may cancel the service at any point before the final analysis is delivered. However, any work completed up to the point of cancellation is chargeable.

    • Refunds for completed work are not provided unless an error or omission by PhoneRaise significantly impacts the final report’s quality.


  7. Limitation of Liability
    • While we strive to produce a reliable analysis, we cannot be held responsible for decisions you make based on this data.
    • PhoneRaise’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for this analysis service.
    • A separate service agreement or subscription may be arranged if you wish to receive updated reports regularly (monthly, quarterly, etc.).

How to Get Started

  1. Contact Us: Contact us to let us know you are interested in the Donor Data Analysis.


  2. Provide Data: Either share your exported reports (Contact + Transaction) or set up a secure Salesforce login so we can run the necessary queries. Here is a template of how your two reports should look (The first two tabs in the Google Sheet)


  3. Make Payment: We’ll confirm data delivery and provide a proposed timeline. Payment must be made here for work to commence.


  4. Receive Your Analysis: After our work is complete, you will receive a detailed donor analysis and scorecard that showcases key metrics and trends.
