How to import your contact data from a .CSV file and map the contact fields
Bulk-adding data about your donors into your PhoneRaise Campaigns lets you incorporate names, contact details, donation specifics, and custom fields simultaneously.
After formatting your donor spreadsheet, you can bulk-add contacts to your PhoneRaise Campaign.
To import contacts in bulk
1. Prepare Your Contact Data
Prepare a contact spreadsheet as a Comma Separated Values (.csv) file.
2. Log into the PhoneRaise webapp.
This must be done from a desktop
3. Select or Create a Campaign
Go to the campaign that you will be uploading contacts to and make sure you are on the contacts page
4. Navigate to the contacts section
Click on Add Contacts in the top right corner
6. Click on Import Contacts
7. Import Options
Choose if you would like to add additional contacts or start from start with a clean list and overwrite your current contacts.
*Note: If you do not have any contacts uploaded yet you can select either option.

9. Map Your Fields
Review each matched field and click Confirm mapping for all correct matches.
The import tool recognizes the data by column headers. Carefully review and confirm each instance that appears to ensure that your data is imported correctly.
10. Choose a Default Field
(Optional) If a suitable match is not found, select the import column by clicking the drop-down arrow and selecting the available matching field options.
11. Add a Custom Field
(Optional) If a suitable match is not found, click Include as custom field.
Including as a custom field adds your field column to your list of Contacts managed in your Campaign.
12. Review Your Import
After verifying each column field, click on Review.
13. Show rows with problems
This toggle option provides an additional opportunity to verify the donor data import is accurate.
14. Click on Continue
15. Click on Yes
Click on yes to complete the donor data import into the PhoneRaise campaign.
